The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) is seeking to appoint a research associate for Translational Systems Biomedicine.
The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) is an interdisciplinary centre of the University, combining experimental, medical and computational approaches to analyse complex biological systems and disease processes. To support our translational biomedical research unit we are currently looking for a highly motivated scientific research associate, PhD or MD, who enjoys making a difference.
The successful candidate will among other things:
- Plan, execute, and closely monitor interdisciplinary research projects
- Liaise with project stakeholders, both internally and externally as point of contact
- Support PI in designing and conducting new projects, evaluating the clinical impact of a laboratory observation, translating a finding into a clinical question, planning a clinical study, developing protocols, writing applications, risk management etc
- Coordinate and oversee bioinformatical analysis, manage large-scale clinical and phenotypic data (cohort studies) or data of clinical trials and prepare necessary reporting/publishing of results
