Two Postdoctoral / Ph.D. positions are open in the group of Julio Saez-Rodriguez at the Institute of Computational Biomedicine of the University Hospital Heidelberg.
Their research spans the areas of systems pharmacology and functional genomics, with a focus on signaling and regulatory networks, and applications to cancer, autoimmune disease, and fibrosis.
The positions are in the areas of:
- Analysis of spatial omics data
- Integration of multi-omics data
applied to the understanding of human disease and therapeutics.
Candidates interested in using computational tools to analyze large biomedical data sets to understand and target human diseases are encouraged to apply.
They are expected to hold a degree in statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering or computer science, or a degree in biological science with substantial experience in computational and statistical work.
