The Centre for Genomic Research is a leading facility for the application of genomic technologies and bioinformatic analyses. The CGR is involved in diverse projects, applying cutting-edge technologies to environmental, biomedical and comparative genomic research. We are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the facility. You should have a PhD in Biological Sciences or a related subject and have relevant experience. Your role will be to develop bioinformatic analysis pipelines and reporting infrastructure to interpret data generated from stool samples in order to understand the underlying root causes of diarrheal outbreaks. This project is part of a Department of Health/Wellcome Trust funded study to fully integrate diagnosis and control of community infection outbreaks. The post is available until 30 September 2016.
