The ByteMAL Conference 2019 (Bioinformatics for Young inTernational researchersExpo in Maastricht, Aachen, and Liège) is a joint initiative of bioinformatics and computational biology students from Aachen, Maastricht, and Liège. The conference will take place on September 24 at RWTH Aachen University Hospital, Aachen, Germany.
ByteMAL platform is aimed to exchange knowledge and discuss research ideas and challenges with scientists of similar backgrounds in systems biology, systems medicine, bioinformatics, digital medicine, and computational biology.
This year the conference will host the following speakers:
- Prof. Rudi Balling (Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine, Luxemburg)
- Prof. Dr. Jan Hasenauer (Institute of Computational Biology, Helmholtz Zentrum München and Computational Life Sciences, University of Bonn)
- Dr. Clemens Kreutz (Center for Biological Systems Analysis (ZBSA), University of Freiburg)
The conference provides a room for networking and in-depth discussions through the poster session, flash Ph.D. talks, and coffee breaks.
