The trainingschool is to provide an overview to the concepts, methods and computational tools currently available for the development and simulation of multi-level models in Biomedicine.
The course will be composed of sessions that will combine theory and hands-on lectures. The last block will include case studies of successful use of multi-level modelling in the context of cancer, infection and degenerative diseases explained by their authors.
Contents:
- Boolean modelling using CellNetAnalyzer
- ODE and stochastic modelling using COPASI,
- Agent-based, multi-scale and multi-levelmodelling using Morpheus
Venue: Institute of Biochemistry, Medical Faculty, Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany
